Cam Miller Ndsu Quarterback East West Shrine Bowl

FARGO, N.D. — North Dakota State University quarterback Cam Miller will take his talents to the East-West Shrine Bowl later this month, following his appearance in the FCS National Championship game. Miller accepted an invitation to the prestigious all-star game on Monday, just hours before leading the Bison against Montana State in Frisco, Texas.

The East-West Shrine Bowl, set for Jan. 30 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will feature some of college football’s top talent, including Colorado’s Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord, and South Dakota State quarterback Mark Gronowski. The event is a key showcase for NFL scouts evaluating draft prospects.

Miller, a four-year starter for NDSU, has cemented his legacy in the program’s history. This season, he achieved a career-high of over 3,000 passing yards, marking his best statistical performance yet. His leadership has been instrumental in the Bison’s success, including their pursuit of a 10th national championship.

The Bison faced Montana State in the FCS National Championship on Monday night, aiming to reclaim their dominance in the division. NDSU has been a perennial powerhouse, winning eight titles between 2011 and 2019 and making 11 championship appearances in the last 14 years.

Montana State, meanwhile, sought to capture its first national title since 1984. The Bobcats entered the game with a 15-0 record, boasting the top-ranked offense in FCS football. Quarterback Tommy Mellott, a dynamic dual-threat player, led the charge, supported by a robust rushing attack and a talented receiving corps.

NDSU’s defense, anchored by standout players like Eli Mostaert and Logan Kopp, has been a force to reckon with, allowing just 15.7 points per game over their last 11 contests. The Bison’s ability to limit high-powered offenses, including South Dakota State’s, has been a key factor in their playoff run.

Miller’s performance in the championship game and his upcoming appearance at the Shrine Bowl will be critical as he looks to impress NFL scouts. His experience, efficiency, and leadership have made him one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in NDSU history.

The East-West Shrine Bowl kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on Jan. 30, offering Miller and other top prospects a final opportunity to showcase their skills before the NFL Draft.
