Nedbank Cup Round Of 16 Draw Revealed Without Major Clashes

The draw for the Nedbank Cup round of 16 has been confirmed by the PSL, following a dramatic conclusion to the Last 32 fixtures. One of the biggest upsets saw Kaizer Chiefs bow out to the Motsepe Foundation Championship team Milford FC in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw.

Mamelodi Sundowns and defending champions Orlando Pirates are still standing strong in the competition, each securing victories over NB La Masia and Crystal Lake, respectively, in the previous round.

Other notable teams making it to the Last 16 include Bafana Ba Style, AmaZulu FC, Sekhukhune United, Stellenbosch FC, SuperSport United, TS Galaxy, Moroka Swallows, Richards Bay, Chippa United, AmaTuks, Maritzburg United, Hungry Lions, D’General, and FC Ravens.

The draw for the round of 16 involved all the qualifying clubs, with matchups being randomly selected without seeding. The fixtures revealed Milford FC facing Stellenbosch FC, while fan-favorites Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Maritzburg United.

Other encounters include Sekhukhune United vs. AmaZulu FC, Chippa United vs. FC Ravens, Orlando Pirates vs. Hungry Lions, AmaTuks vs. Moroka Swallows, Richards Bay vs. SuperSport United, and D’General vs. TS Galaxy.
