Nepal Vs Usa T20 World Cup Qualifier Cricket Match

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Nepal plays against the United States of America (USA) in the first match of the UAE Tri-Nation Series 2025 today, October 26, 2025. The match is held at the Dubai International Stadium.

The tri-series is part of the fifteenth round of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 (2023–27). This series is crucial as only the top four teams will advance directly to the Qualifier. Currently, the USA ranks second on the League 2 table with 28 points, achieved from 14 wins in 20 matches and a positive net run rate of 0.758. The USA’s consistent performance features strong contributions from players like Monank Patel and Milind Kumar, who have been standout performers in recent games.

Nepal, on the other hand, is positioned seventh with five wins from 16 matches and a net run rate of -0.138. Their journey has been inconsistent, creating pressure for captain Rohit Paudel and the team. In 2023, they hold a 3-1 record in ODIs and are currently riding a wave of success in T20 internationals after winning against a Full Member team for the first time.

The UAE team, sharing the venue, currently sits at the bottom of the table with six points. Scotland leads the rankings with 30 points, followed by the Netherlands and Oman. With each team vying for a place in the next stage, every match becomes increasingly significant.

This ongoing rivalry between Nepal and the USA, which began in February 2020, stands evenly matched at 4-4, with one tied match from their previous encounters. The last match saw the USA victorious over Nepal by 37 runs.

Fans can catch the match live through various platforms. In India, it is available on the FanCode app, while in Nepal, it can be seen on Kantipur Max TV. In the USA, viewers can watch on Willow TV. Additionally, all matches in the CWC League 2 will be streamed live on ICC.tv.
