Nfl 2025 Schedule Release Pittsburgh Steelers

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — The NFL announced that it will release the full 2025 schedules for all 32 teams at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Among the highlights is the Pittsburgh Steelers’ matchup as the designated home team against the Minnesota Vikings in the league’s first regular-season game to be held in Dublin, Ireland, on September 28.

This season, the Steelers will compete against each team from the AFC East and NFC North. They will also play the second-place teams from the AFC South, AFC West, and NFC West in 2024. As part of their 17-game schedule, they will face their AFC North division rivals twice, once at home at Acrisure Stadium and once on the road.

The Steelers’ lineup of home and road opponents includes notable teams such as the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, and more. The home games will see the team host the Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots, and Miami Dolphins, among others.

Last season, Pittsburgh finished with a 10-7 record but faced elimination in the wild-card round against the Baltimore Ravens, marking an eight-year postseason drought for the franchise. Recently, the team allowed quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to depart in free agency and is currently in talks with Aaron Rodgers, who has not yet made a decision.

If Rodgers signs with the Steelers, he will have the opportunity to face both of his former teams in 2025. He has wins against 31 NFL squads but has never played against the Packers, who are set to visit Pittsburgh this season. Additionally, the Steelers will travel to meet the New York Jets, with whom Rodgers spent the last two years after 18 seasons with the Packers.

Another intriguing matchup will occur when newly acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf squares off against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks, during the 2025 season.

Fans are encouraged to check back on Wednesday night for the Steelers’ complete week-to-week schedule, along with analysis and predictions for the upcoming season.
