NHL Games to Air on ABC, ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu This Week
The NHL season continues this week with three exclusive games airing on ABC, ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu, starting Tuesday, January 7. The action kicks off with an Eastern Conference matchup between the Atlantic Division-leading team and their rivals at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu.
On Thursday, another top Eastern Conference clash will take place at 7:30 p.m., featuring two of the league’s strongest teams. The week concludes with ABC Hockey Saturday at 1 p.m., showcasing a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs between the defending champions and their challengers. This game will also be simulcast on ESPN+.
Play-by-play commentator Bob Wischusen will lead the coverage, completing a busy two-week stretch of eight assignments across NHL and college football. Wischusen will call the Maple Leafs–Flyers game on Tuesday and the Bruins–Panthers matchup on Saturday.
In addition to the live games, ESPN+ subscribers will have access to NHL Power Play, offering over 1,050 out-of-market games throughout the season. Fans can choose between home or away team commentary and enjoy Canadian national presentations of Hockey Night in Canada. Replays of every NHL regular season and playoff game on ABC, ESPN, NHL Network, and TNT will also be available.
