Nia Jax Credits Tamina Snuka, Charlotte Flair for WWE Career Support
STAMFORD, Conn. — WWE Superstar Nia Jax opened up about the pivotal role her fellow wrestlers have played in her career, singling out Tamina Snuka and Charlotte Flair as key influences during a recent podcast appearance. Jax, who returned to WWE after a brief release, emphasized the familial bond within the locker room that has helped her navigate the highs and lows of professional wrestling.
Jax, who first joined WWE in 2015, reflected on her decade-long journey, which included winning gold at WrestleMania and overcoming personal challenges. She credited Tamina Snuka, often referred to as the “Mama Bear” of the locker room, for providing unwavering support. “She doesn’t get the flowers she deserves, but that woman backstage is a pillar, a rock to so many of us,” Jax said on the “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast. “She’s kept me up when I need to stay up, positive when I was trying to be negative.”
Jax also highlighted Charlotte Flair’s role in her fitness journey, calling her a “fitness guru” who offered guidance during a transformative period. She praised Naomi for her kindness and listed several other WWE stars, including Bayley, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns, as integral parts of her support system. “We’re a family back there,” Jax said. “We’re with each other so many days out of the year that we have to be supportive.”
Meanwhile, WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green shared her excitement for the upcoming Royal Rumble match, naming Alexa Bliss and Nikki Bella as her dream entrants. “If that plays and I’m in the ring, I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Green said during an interview with “The One Mona.”
As the Royal Rumble approaches, the camaraderie behind the scenes contrasts with the fierce competition expected in the ring. Jax, Flair, and others have already declared for the event, setting the stage for a high-stakes showdown.
