Nollywood actress Mogaji has candidly revealed the harrowing experience of abuse she endured during her marriage, shedding light on the challenges she faced in the relationship.

Previously romantically linked with actor Jibola Dabo, Mogaji later tied the knot with Victor Ayodele Oduleye, a retired footballer and physiotherapist, in 2006.

During a recent podcast interview, the actress shared her heartbreaking journey of falling in love with Oduleye, only to be subjected to abuse that marred their relationship.

She disclosed how she would resort to waiting outside their residence until someone else arrived to avoid being subjected to verbal and physical abuse.

The ordeal lasted for thirteen years before Mogaji made the courageous decision to separate from her husband about four years ago, putting an end to the distressing situation.

Detailing the toxic dynamics of the marriage, Mogaji emphasized the importance of recognizing and escaping from abusive relationships to safeguard one’s well-being.

Her account painted a poignant picture of the mental and emotional toll endured behind closed doors, urging others in similar situations to prioritize their safety and seek help when needed.
