Nottingham Forest And Crystal Palace Target New Goalkeepers On Deadline Day

Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are intensifying their efforts to secure new goalkeepers on the final day of the transfer window. Forest has expressed interest in signing Matz Sels from Strasbourg, while Palace is considering Sam Johnstone for the role.

Matz Sels, a Belgian international, is open to relocating to Nottingham’s City Ground and is likely to cost around £10million. On the other hand, Crystal Palace is willing to let go of Sam Johnstone but is aiming to recoup £15million from his sale.

Sam Johnstone, who has ambitions of retaining his spot in the England squad ahead of Euro 2024, lost his position as Crystal Palace’s first-choice goalkeeper. Similarly, Nottingham Forest is keen on strengthening their squad with a new goalkeeper.
