SACRAMENTO, California – The Denver Nuggets secured a 122-108 win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night, powered by a remarkable performance from Nikola Jokić. The three-time MVP tallied 35 points, 15 rebounds, and seven assists, showcasing his brilliance once again.

Denver entered the game with a 7-2 record and a four-game winning streak. Jokić, who had already achieved six triple-doubles this season, improved his statistics further during the match, displaying his shooting efficiency by hitting 16 of his 19 attempts, a staggering 84.2%.

“He did it all over the floor,” Nuggets coach David Adelman said. “There are not a lot of words to describe what he’s doing right now.” Jokić’s performance marked the first time in his career that he scored at least 35 points while shooting over 80% from the field.

The Nuggets struggled in moments but received crucial contributions from Jamal Murray, who scored 23 points, including 10 in a pivotal fourth quarter run that extended Denver’s lead. “That second unit was incredible with Jamal to start the fourth quarter,” Adelman added.

As the Kings attempted to close the gap after the third quarter, Denver responded with a dominant stretch fueled by Murray’s play, allowing the Nuggets to win their second game away from home this season.

Sacramento’s Domantas Sabonis added 19 points, while the Kings fell to 6-5 and lost their third straight game. Despite the loss, Kings coach Doug Christie emphasized the need for a full-game effort after a slow start to the season. “We need a 48-minute effort to win in this league, especially against a team like that,” Christie stated.

The Nuggets will aim to extend their winning streak as they face the Los Angeles Clippers next, while the Kings look to rebound against the Atlanta Hawks.
