OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The University of Oklahoma‘s softball team won the 2024 Women’s College World Series, defeating Texas in an exciting championship matchup.

Oklahoma secured the title on June 5, 2024, with a decisive 6-2 victory at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. This marks the team’s third consecutive championship, solidifying their status as a powerhouse in college softball.

Head Coach Patty Gasso praised her team’s effort and resilience. “This victory reflects the hard work and commitment of our players throughout the season,” Gasso said during the post-game celebration.
