Ole Miss Chosen as Regional Host for 2025 NCAA Baseball Championship

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss will host a regional for the 2025 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, marking the first time since 2021. The announcement was made by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee on Sunday.

This will be the 11th time Ole Miss has hosted a regional, all coming during the era of the current tournament format. The Rebels are one of eight Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams awarded host bids for this postseason.

The regional action will take place at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field. The full 64-team field and regional pairings will be revealed on Monday, May 26, at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN2.

The tournament features a double-elimination format at the regional level, allowing teams to compete for advancement. Ole Miss finished the regular season with a solid 40-19 record, earning its position among the selected regional sites.

Other SEC hosts include Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and LSU, showcasing the conference’s strength in college baseball. Fans and players alike are eagerly anticipating the matchups and the opportunity to compete for a spot in the Men’s College World Series.

The Road to Omaha begins as the tournament progresses through regionals, super regionals, and finally culminates in the Men’s College World Series at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, from June 13 to June 23, 2025.
