BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Ole Miss guard Sean Pedulla has been named to the Southeastern Conference’s All-SEC Third Team, as announced on Monday by the conference. Pedulla secured this honor following a standout season where he averaged 15.1 points per game, leading the Rebels in key offensive categories.

In addition to his scoring, Pedulla tallied 116 assists and made 77 three-pointers, while ranking ninth in the SEC for field goal percentage at 43.7. His defensive prowess is equally notable; he recorded 57 steals this season, placing him fourth in the conference and tying him for the seventh-most steals in a single season in Ole Miss history.

The transfer from Virginia Tech has played a crucial role in Ole Miss’s successful campaign, where the team has achieved 21 wins and significant victories over ranked opponents including No. 4 Alabama, No. 14 Kentucky, and No. 4 Tennessee. Pedulla’s contributions on the court helped position the Rebels for a projected NCAA Tournament berth.

“Sean’s emergence as a leader on the court has been invaluable,” said Ole Miss coach Chris Beard. “His ability to control the game and make plays has been a game changer for our team.”

Pedulla, who also ranks fourth in the SEC in steals per game, is just one three-pointer shy of entering the top 10 for the most made in a single season for Ole Miss.

As Ole Miss prepares for the 2025 SEC Tournament in Nashville, a first-round bye allows them to await the winner of the matchup between Arkansas and South Carolina. The Rebels are set to play on Thursday, March 13, at 12 p.m. CT at Bridgestone Arena.

The SEC also announced other honors, including Bruce Pearl of Auburn as Coach of the Year and Johni Broome of Auburn as Player of the Year. Zakai Zeigler of Tennessee received the Defensive Player of the Year accolade for the second successive year.

“This recognition from the coaches emphasizes just how far our team has come this year,” added Pedulla. “I’m excited for the tournament and believe we have what it takes to make a deep run.”
