Olivia Rodrigo, the iconic pop star known for her hit songs such as “Vampire,” has recently been spotted interactively engaging with fans in Melbourne, Australia. These encounters are generating significant attention online as Rodrigo prepares for her upcoming performances in the city.

The 21-year-old singer arrived in Melbourne ahead of her first-ever tour dates in Australia, where she is set to perform four sold-out shows at Rod Laver Arena. Prior to these concerts, Rodrigo has been seen exploring the city and interacting with fans in various locations within Victoria‘s capital.

A particularly heartwarming moment was captured between Rodrigo and aspiring Melbourne musician Bianca Camiolo. The encounter took place on Peel Street in Collingwood, where Camiolo had the chance to meet her idol unexpectedly.

According to Bianca, upon recognizing Olivia, she courageously approached the star for a photo opportunity, to which Rodrigo graciously agreed. Following the photo, Bianca asked Rodrigo for advice for aspiring artists. “Just make stuff every day, just keep going right until you have good quality,” was Rodrigo’s response, offering inspiration to the young musician.

The recorded interaction quickly went viral on TikTok, amassing over 300,000 views. Fans praised Rodrigo for her approachable and down-to-earth nature, with one comment highlighting how “lucky” Bianca was to receive guidance from the Grammy-nominated artist.

Olivia Rodrigo’s Australian tour will commence in Melbourne on October 9 and conclude in Sydney on October 22. Joining Rodrigo for this leg of the tour is Benee, the talented singer-songwriter from New Zealand. The tour supports Rodrigo’s latest album, “Guts,” which has already earned her six Grammy nominations, including nods for Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

In addition to her performances, Rodrigo plans to contribute a portion of her concert proceeds to Olivia Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good, an initiative aimed at supporting girls’ education, reproductive rights, and preventing gender-based violence.
