Oregon Ducks Vs Indiana Hoosiers Basketball Game

EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon men’s basketball will face off against Indiana on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. PT for their final home game of the season. The matchup will be significant as it marks Senior Day for the Ducks, who will honor their graduating players following the contest.

The Ducks, currently holding a record of 21-8 and 10-8 in conference play, aim to extend their winning streak to six games. They have recently enjoyed a surge of momentum, highlighted by an impressive 82-61 victory over USC on March 1, where sophomore guard Jackson Shelstad led with 20 points.

“We just need to maintain our focus and energy,” Ducks head coach Dana Altman said. “Indiana is a talented team, and we’ll need to bring our best to get the win.”

Oregon has faced Indiana three times in the past, with the Hoosiers winning each matchup. The last encounter was in 1978. This season, Indiana boasts an 18-11 record, with a conference standing of 9-9. They come into the game with a three-game winning streak, fresh off a 78-62 win over a Big Ten rival.

“We’re excited to come to Eugene and play a solid team like Oregon,” Indiana head coach Mike Woodson said. “This is a crucial game for us as we aim for the NCAA Tournament.”

The Hoosiers have found recent success, having won four of their last five games. Star junior forward Malik Reneau has been a driving force, averaging 17.2 points in his last five appearances.

“Malik has stepped up tremendously,” Woodson added. “His contributions have helped us regain our rhythm.”

The Ducks, under the leadership of Altman, hold the record for the most March wins since the coach took the helm, totaling 73 games won in the month.

In terms of scoring, the Ducks rank 11th in the conference with an average of 76.8 points per game, while their defensive efforts place them 10th, allowing 71.4 points per game to opponents. Fans can expect an exciting matchup, with both teams pushing for a strong finish in the regular season.

Tuesday’s game will be broadcast live on FS1, with radio coverage on Eugene’s KUJZ 95.3 FM and Portland’s KFXX 1080 AM. This highly anticipated game will showcase Oregon’s home court advantage as they strive to make their final home game a memorable one.

Starting at 6 PM PT, the final home game of the regular season promises to be filled with energy, passion, and the spirit of competition.
