Corvallis, Oregon — Oregon State University rallied to defeat Florida State University 5-4 in Game 1 of the NCAA Super Regional on June 6, 2025. Trailing 4-1 heading into the ninth inning, the Beavers scored four runs to secure a memorable comeback at Goss Stadium.

AJ Singer’s bases-loaded single in the 10th inning sealed the game for the Beavers, marking a significant upset over the Seminoles. The victory keeps Oregon State’s championship hopes alive as they aim for the College World Series.

The Seminoles had taken an early lead, with Myles Bailey hitting a homer in the sixth inning, but Oregon State answered back. A crucial double by Hunter Carns in the second inning put the Beavers on the board, followed by runs from Wilson Weber and Jacob Krieg that tied the game.

Oregon State’s head coach praised his team’s resilience: ‘We stayed focused and believed we could win until the last out. It’s just incredible what these guys can do.’ Attendance at the game was 4,378, showing strong support for the Beavers.
