Otega Oweh Aims for 2025 NBA Draft After Workouts

Tualatin, Oregon – Otega Oweh is fully committed to making his mark in the 2025 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-5 guard participated in the second round of pre-draft workouts on Thursday.
Despite having one year of college eligibility remaining, Oweh is focused solely on his basketball career. “I’m all in,” he stated. “I have one more year of eligibility, but my goal is to play in the NBA, so I’m not doing this process one foot in, one foot out.”
Oweh, a sophomore, averaged 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists last season. His impressive athleticism and defensive skills have attracted interest from multiple NBA teams. While some mock drafts project him as a second-round pick or potentially undrafted, he believes in his potential. “I wouldn’t say it’s completely false, but I believe I’m a first-round guy,” he said.
Oweh plans to give his all in upcoming workouts to prove his capabilities. “I’m just gonna go through these workouts, give it my all, and then when it’s all said and done, I’ll see where I’m at and then I’ll make that decision,” he added.
With the NBA’s early entry withdrawal deadline for college players set for May 29, Oweh will remain busy showcasing his skills through additional workouts and interviews, aiming to meet the NBA’s standards.
