Ottawa Senators Florida Panthers Home Opener 2024

The Ottawa Senators are poised to begin their 2024-25 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season with a home opener against the reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers. The highly anticipated match is scheduled for 7 p.m. on October 10, 2024, at the Canadian Tire Centre.

As excitement builds for the start of the season, Senators fans are encouraged to secure one of the limited remaining tickets for the game. The Canadian Tire Centre Plaza will open at 3 p.m., offering a variety of pregame festivities, including the players’ red carpet entrance, which marks its return for the first time since 2019. Player arrivals for the red carpet event will occur between 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

The plaza will host numerous activities, including photo stations, inflatable games, and face-painting setups. A beer tent will feature $5 beer offerings, while live entertainment will be provided by The Vendura’s from 4:30 p.m. until the plaza closes at 6:45 p.m. Fans attending the game are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation, as representatives from the Ottawa Food Bank will be present to accept contributions.

The first 10,000 fans arriving at the game will be eligible to receive a Sens QR Code Calendar, which promises surprises throughout the season. This gesture is expected to boost early attendance.

With Brady Tkachuk, the Senators’ captain, slated to face his brother Matthew Tkachuk of the Panthers, the game promises an engaging and competitive atmosphere. “It’s going to be a fast and physical game,” said a fan eagerly waiting to see the Tkachuk brothers face-off.

Those wishing to follow Ottawa Senators updates throughout the season can do so via the team’s official social media channels and website.
