Pacers’ Bennedict Mathurin Out for Game Against Bucks

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Indiana Pacers guard Bennedict Mathurin will not play in Game 4 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night due to an abdominal bruise.
Pacers coach Rick Carlisle confirmed Mathurin’s absence during a pregame media session. An injury report released earlier listed the 6-foot-6 guard as questionable leading up to the game.
Mathurin has averaged 12 points per game in the series so far, contributing to the Pacers’ 2-1 lead over the Bucks. In the regular season, he averaged 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, showcasing his significance to the team’s success.
The Pacers will look to adjust their strategy in Mathurin’s absence as they aim to secure a commanding 3-1 lead in the playoff series.
