Pacers Reach NBA Finals for First Time in 23 Years

Indianapolis, IN – The Indiana Pacers are headed to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000 after defeating the New York Knicks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Star point guard Tyrese Halliburton played a critical role in the Pacers’ success, scoring 21 points and adding 13 assists, six rebounds, and three steals in the decisive game. Despite his outstanding performance, Halliburton did not win the Eastern Conference Finals MVP award, which went to teammate Pascal Siakam.
Halliburton has earned respect during the playoffs for his clutch performances, which included several game-winners. His girlfriend, Jade Jones, made headlines with a playful Instagram post directed at the Knicks, wearing a custom outfit that proclaimed, “go NY go NY go… Home!!! #YESCERSSS So proud of this team!!! 💛💛💛.”
With their historic Finals appearance set, Halliburton and the Pacers aim to deliver Indiana its first NBA championship starting with Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, June 5.
Fans can expect Jones and her stylish outfits to be present at the game, likely ready to celebrate more Pacers victories.
