INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Pascal Siakam scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, leading the Indiana Pacers to a thrilling 119-112 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night. The Pacers erased a 22-point deficit after losing center Myles Turner to a facial injury in the first quarter.

Siakam, who also had two steals, was instrumental in the Pacers’ rally. “We stayed composed and found our rhythm,” Siakam said postgame. “It was a team effort, and we showed a lot of heart.”

The Clippers jumped to an early 13-2 lead and extended it to 42-22 by the end of the first quarter, led by Norman Powell and Amir Coffey, who each scored 9 points. However, the Pacers responded with a 42-point second quarter, outscoring the Clippers 42-19 to take a 64-61 halftime lead.

The Clippers regained control in the third quarter, ending with a 10-0 run to lead 88-84. But the Pacers dominated the fourth quarter, closing the game on a 19-7 run. Bennedict Mathurin and Tyrese Haliburton each scored 9 points in the final quarter.

James Harden led the Clippers with 22 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds. “We had our chances, but we couldn’t close it out,” Harden said. “It’s a tough pill to swallow, but we’ll learn from it.”

The Pacers improved to 29-21, while the Clippers dropped to 28-23. Indiana will face the Lakers on Monday, while the Clippers host Utah on Saturday.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle praised his team’s resilience. “This was a character win for us. We faced adversity early, but the guys stepped up and delivered,” Carlisle said.
