Packers Steelers Throwback Uniforms

PITTSBURGH, PA — Fans of the Green Bay Packers should get ready for a new look as the team debuts alternate jerseys in back-to-back weeks. Starting tonight, the Packers will wear their all-white ‘winter warning’ uniforms against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This marks the second time this season the Packers have donned their all-white color rush uniforms, which they previously wore at home on September 11. With the NFL expanding alternate jersey games from three to four in 2025, fans can expect more unique looks each season.

The Packers are 3-0 while wearing their winter warning attire in the last two seasons. They will reveal a new 1923-themed classic uniform next week. Kickoff for that game is set for noon on November 2.

Meanwhile, the Steelers are also embracing their own unique style for tonight’s game. They will showcase their 1933 throwback uniforms, which pay homage to the team’s early days. This is a departure from the previously worn bumblebee jerseys retired after the 2010s.

Steelers players are eager to sport the new uniforms. Edge rusher Alex Highsmith expressed enthusiasm, stating, “I’m really excited for it, and to be wearing them on ‘Sunday Night Football,’ it’s going to be awesome.”

The Steelers’ 1933 uniforms feature a gold throwback jersey with black stripes and large white block letters trimmed in black. The ensemble includes a helmet with a gold matte finish and beige pants, while the City of Pittsburgh crest appears on the left shoulder.

This matchup also sees players facing off from both teams that have had notable seasons. Notably, Aaron Rodgers is set to face his former team, the Packers, for the first time in his career. A victory would make him the fifth quarterback to defeat all 32 current NFL teams.

As fans gear up for this historic game, they can expect action and style on the field.
