Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 3rd ODI: Decider Match Set to Decide Series Outcome
The third and final One-Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and Zimbabwe is set to take place on Thursday, November 28, at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. The series is currently tied at 1-1, making this match a decider for the three-match ODI series.
In the first ODI, Zimbabwe secured a convincing 80-run victory over Pakistan using the DLS method. However, Pakistan bounced back strongly in the second ODI, winning by 10 wickets after Zimbabwe was bowled out for just 145 runs. Saim Ayub‘s maiden ODI century and Abrar Ahmed‘s four-wicket haul on his debut were key factors in Pakistan’s victory.
Pakistan will be without pacers Ahmed Daniyal and Shahnawaz Dahani for the decider due to injuries sustained during training. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has called up Abbas Afridi and Jahanbad Khan as replacements.
Zimbabwe, after a strong start to the series, will need to regroup and perform consistently to win the series. Their main concern will be countering Pakistan’s spinners, particularly Agha Salman and Abrar Ahmed, who have been in impressive form.
The match is scheduled to start at 1:00 PM IST (09:15 AM local time), with the toss set for 12:30 PM IST. Fans can watch the live streaming of the match on the FanCode app and website, as well as on SonyLIV in some regions).
