Park City Hotel Bookings Summer 2025

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau is optimistic about hotel bookings this summer. Jennifer Wesselhoff, the Chamber President and CEO, reported that current reservations are up by nearly 11% compared to last year’s data.

The Chamber uses a data platform to track hotel performance across about two dozen properties in the Park City area, representing around 2,500 rooms. Wesselhoff noted that based on these figures, the area is likely heading into a strong summer season.

“Looking forward for the next six months, we are ahead of pace with reservations on the books by almost 11%,” Wesselhoff said. She also mentioned that hotel prices are expected to increase by around 2% in the coming months.

Reflecting on the past six months, Wesselhoff stated that during the peak ski season, average occupancy and daily rates climbed by about 2-3% year-over-year. “Generally speaking, those higher-end ski-in ski-out resort-based properties are performing a little bit better than the average property,” she added.

However, recent tax data from February indicates a decline in both local sales and lodging tax revenues, while restaurant tax levels have remained steady. Despite these fluctuations, Wesselhoff maintains a positive outlook. “While we see some fluctuation month-to-month compared to the previous year, overall we’re seeing incredible growth,” she said.

Additionally, a report from the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) shows the 2024-25 winter season recorded the second-highest visitation to U.S. ski areas. A growing number of U.S. households are opting for road trips this summer, reflecting a shift in consumer sentiment amid economic uncertainty.
