Pascal Vincent Named Head Coach of Rocket de Laval
Announced by John Sedgwick, the General Manager of Rocket de Laval, Pascal Vincent has been appointed as the new head coach of the AHL team, Rocket de Laval.
Vincent, with a rich history spanning 30 years in the hockey world, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously coached in various capacities in leagues such as the AHL and NHL.
The Canadiens de Montréal organization expressed pride in welcoming Pascal Vincent, highlighting his extensive coaching background in the LHJMQ, AHL, and NHL.
At 52 years old, Vincent spent the last three seasons with the Blue Jackets de Columbus, initially as an assistant coach before assuming the head coaching position in the 2023-2024 season.
Prior to his time with the Blue Jackets, Vincent had a successful five-year tenure as head coach of the Moose du Manitoba in the AHL.
In the span of his coaching career, Vincent notably led the Screaming Eagles du Cap-Breton in the LHJMQ for nine seasons before moving on to coach the Junior de Montréal.
Vincent’s coaching journey began in 1994 as an assistant coach with the Lynx de Saint-Jean in the LHJMQ before taking on the head coaching role with the Régents de Laval-Laurentides-Lanaudière.
