GREEN BAY, Wis. — Pat McAfee revealed that former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy will join his show for the 2025 NFL Draft. The announcement came during a live broadcast from Las Vegas on Monday, where McAfee was discussing WrestleMania 41.

McAfee, a former punter, noted that his program, The Pat McAfee Show, will be live from Lambeau Field during the first round of the draft on April 27, 2025. He said, “Coach Mike McCarthy, formerly of the Green Bay Packers, will be joining us Thursday night in Green Bay for our Draft Spectacular.”

McCarthy served as the head coach of the Packers from 2006 to 2018, guiding the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2011. He was the head coach of the Cowboys from 2020 to 2024, leading the team to three consecutive playoff appearances, although he ended his tenure with a 1-3 playoff record.

The Cowboys parted ways with McCarthy after a disappointing 7-10 season in 2024. Fans on social media expressed excitement over McCarthy’s participation in the draft show. One viewer tweeted, “Big news! McCarthy back for the Draft, it’s going to be epic!” while another added, “Bring the sledgehammers.”

In addition to McCarthy, the 2025 NFL Draft show will feature other notable personalities, with additional guests to be announced soon. McAfee’s crew, including Darius Butler, Boston Connor, Tone Digs, former NFL star AJ Hawk, and Ty Schmit will also join the broadcast.

Fans can stream the draft live on YouTube, ESPN+, TikTok, and the ESPN app. The event will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET on draft day.
