Patna Pirates and Puneri Paltan clashed in a thrilling encounter in the Pro Kabaddi League, resulting in a 32-32 draw. The Patna Pirates, fresh off a victory against the Bengal Warriors, failed to match the early momentum set by Puneri Paltan. The Paltan’s trio of Aslam Inamdar, Mohit Goyat, and Pankaj Mohite made significant contributions to keep the Pirates’ defense at bay and establish an 11-6 lead.
The Patna Pirates fought back admirably, led by their captain Sachin Tanwar, who targeted Puneri Paltan’s cover defenders to narrow the deficit. At halftime, Puneri Paltan held a 19-14 advantage.
The second half saw the Patna Pirates launch a spirited comeback, with Tanwar producing a stunning multi-point raid that reduced the opposition to only three players. However, Puneri Paltan’s strong defense prevented the all out. An error from Sanket Sawant gave the Pirates another opportunity as Puneri Paltan’s players were reduced to three once again.

The match remained fiercely contested, with both teams locked at 27 points. However, the Pirates surged ahead and claimed a 30-27 lead with only four minutes to go. Mayur Kadam showcased his outstanding form by achieving a second consecutive High 5 with a stellar tackle on Pankaj Mohite.
As the game reached its climax, Puneri Paltan mounted a comeback, and in the final raid, the Patna Pirates held a narrow 32-31 advantage. Unfortunately, Manjeet fell short of the bonus line and was tackled, resulting in a draw between the two teams.
