Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Welcome Third Child Amid Super Bowl Push

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, announced the birth of their third child, a daughter named Golden Raye Mahomes, on Jan. 12, 2025. The couple shared the news on social media, posting a photo of the newbornu2019s feet with the caption, u201cGolden Raye Mahomes 1/12/25.u201d

The Mahomes family, already parents to 3-year-old Sterling and 2-year-old Bronze, revealed they were expecting another child in July 2024. Patrick, who is aiming for a third consecutive Super Bowl championship, had expressed hope that the baby would arrive during the Chiefsu2019 playoff bye week. u201cShe was due any day now,u201d Patrick said in a Dec. 25 Netflix clip. u201cI was hoping it would work out during the bye week.u201d

The Chiefs secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC, earning a first-round bye and allowing Patrick to focus on his growing family before returning to the field. The team will face the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round on Saturday.
