Patriots Sign Wes Schweitzer After David Andrews Release

Foxborough, Massachusetts — The New England Patriots have reinforced their offensive line by signing veteran Wes Schweitzer to a one-year contract on Friday, following the release of long-time center David Andrews just a day earlier.

Schweitzer, who played the last two seasons with the New York Jets, brings substantial experience to the Patriots’ roster. The offensive lineman, a sixth-round draft pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2016, has started 62 games throughout his career, including 36 during his time in Atlanta and 24 in Washington.
