Paul Merson Warns Chelsea Cole Palmer May Seek Bigger Opportunity

Merson described the young player as “top drawer” and emphasized Palmer’s ambition to compete at the highest level.

Despite missing out on Champions League football last season, Merson noted that Palmer might expect Chelsea to secure a place in the prestigious tournament next season.

Merson cautioned, “If they finish outside the Champions League this year, Palmer will want to be playing in it. He’s getting to the stage where he’ll want to be watching Champions League football.”
