Penn State Football Blue And White Game 2025

University Park, PA – The 2025 Blue & White Game showcased Penn State’s football talent in a unique format on April 26, 2025. Fans flocked to Beaver Stadium, despite renovations and the game not being televised for the first time in years.

On a bright and windy afternoon, Penn State’s better-known players, such as Nicholas Singleton and Drew Allar, along with rising stars like Devonte Ross and Tyseer Denmark, were under the spotlight. The game began with an innovative 7-on-7 drill format without offensive linemen, allowing players to exhibit their skills right away.

After the teams had their turn in the 7-on-7 games, a kickoff competition unfolded between Gabe Nwosu and Ryan Barker. Nwosu scored first for the Blue Team by landing two successful kickoffs, putting his team ahead 2-0.

The action transitioned to a more traditional football style, with players going down when touched. The White Team answered with a drive capped by a Matthew Parker field goal, giving them a 3-2 lead. Jaxon Smolik later threw a deep pass to Samuel for a touchdown, bringing the score to 10-2 for the Blue Team at halftime.

In the second half, tackling was permitted except for quarterbacks. Quinton Martin put the Blue Team back on the scoreboard by converting a fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line, but their two-point conversion attempt failed, leaving the final score at 10-8.
