PFT Commenter Roasted on TNT During Capitals vs. Hurricanes Game

Washington, D.C. — PFT Commenter, a prominent Washington sports fan and co-host of Barstool Sports‘ Pardon My Take, garnered attention during Game 3 between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Washington Capitals on Saturday night. His notable moments unfolded not just in the arena, but also on the TNT broadcast, where fellow Barstool colleague and NHL on TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette humorously called him out.
Before the game, PFT Commenter tweeted a parlay with his predictions, which involved Alexander Ovechkin scoring and firing off five shots on goal. This led him to be particularly focused on shot attempts during the match.
After the first period, PFT Commenter urged the NHL on TNT studio crew to highlight the Capitals’ shot advantage. Liam McHugh and Bissonnette responded to his request. “We’re gonna get into the shot attempts, shot discrepancy,” McHugh said. Bissonnette, however, lightheartedly roasted PFT Commenter, calling him a “JNCO-wearing jock-sniffer.”
Despite the banter, McHugh noted the importance of discussing the Capitals’ performance. “The minute Carolina is getting out-attempted, you gotta give love to the other side,” he said.
Though the jokes flourished, Bissonnette’s playful insult caught the attention of PFT Commenter. In a retort on social media, he humorously implied that Bissonnette resembled a character from The Sopranos, calling him “*Stanley Cup Champion* JNCO wearing jock sniffer PFT.” This exchange showcased their friendly rivalry.
Unfortunately, the night didn’t end well for PFT Commenter, as his Capitals went on to lose the game 4-0 against the Hurricanes. The broadcast not only entertained viewers with humor but also highlighted the passionate rivalry involved in the game.
