The season will feature 18 full-field events, eight signature tournaments, and four major championships across 18 U.S. states and six countries.
The season kicks off Dec. 30, 2024, with The Sentry at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii, and concludes Aug. 24, 2025, with the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. The FedEx Cup Playoffs will include the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee; the BMW Championship in Owings Mills, Maryland; and the Tour Championship.
Major championships will return to iconic venues, including Augusta National Golf Club for The Masters (April 10-13), Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the PGA Championship (May 15-18), Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania for the U.S. Open (June 12-15), and Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland for The Open (July 17-20).
Notable changes to the 2025 schedule include the relocation of The Genesis Invitational from The Riviera Country Club to Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California, due to wildfire damage. Additionally, the Ryder Cup, golf’s premier team event, will take place Sept. 26-28 at Bethpage Black in New York, where the U.S. team will defend home soil against Europe.
“The 2025 schedule offers a mix of tradition and innovation, with events in some of the most iconic golf destinations worldwide,” said PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan. “We’re excited to bring fans another thrilling season of competition.”
International events include the Mexico Open at Vidanta in Vallarta, Mexico (Feb. 17-23), the RBC Canadian Open in Caledon, Ontario (June 2-8), and the Genesis Scottish Open in North Berwick, Scotland (July 7-13). The season also features additional events like the Puerto Rico Open and the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic.
Top players, including Scottie Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, and Xander Schauffele, are expected to compete throughout the season. Scheffler, the 2024 Masters champion, will aim to defend his title, while DeChambeau and Schauffele will look to build on their recent major victories.
Fans can also look forward to signature events like The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass (March 10-16) and The Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club (May 26-June 1). The season’s final stretch will culminate with the FedEx Cup Playoffs, where the top 30 players in the standings will compete for the championship.
