Philadelphia Union Vs Cf Montreal

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Union, ranked No. 4 in Major League Soccer (MLS), will visit CF Montréal, currently in 29th place, on Saturday at 7:30 PM ET. The match will be available for streaming.

In their last outing, the Union secured a convincing 3-0 victory over D.C. United, despite being outshot 10-8. Meanwhile, Montréal fought for a 2-2 draw against Toronto FC in their previous game on April 30.

Across the league, Inter Miami is looking to rebound after a disappointing exit from the CONCACAF Champions Cup. They lost 5-1 on aggregate to the Vancouver Whitecaps in the semifinals. Coach Javier Mascherano’s squad is on the brink of a fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions. Notably, Lionel Messi was unable to inspire a turnaround during the semifinal’s second leg, which ended in a 3-1 loss at Chase Stadium in front of a frustrated crowd.

Miami faces the New York Red Bulls this Friday at 7:30 PM ET in Fort Lauderdale. The Red Bulls come off a narrow 1-0 win over CF Montréal, with Noah Eile scoring his first MLS goal.

In the more immediate matchup, Orlando City will face Atlanta United this Saturday, also seeking to turn around their early-season struggles. Orlando sits seventh in the standings, while Atlanta is just below in 12th place.

Unfortunately, both teams will be missing key players. Orlando will be without Brazilian defender Santos, serving a suspension, and two strikers are sidelined due to injuries. Atlanta is dealing with the absence of defender Derrick Williams and forward Edwin Mosquera, who has missed multiple matches due to an ankle injury.

The action continues this week with intriguing matchups scheduled in MLS, as teams battle for crucial points.
