Phoenix Suns’ Breakout Star: Rookie Ryan Dunn Shows Promise in Preseason

The Phoenix Suns‘ rookie, Ryan Dunn, has become a focal point of discussion as the NBA preseason unfolds. Co-captains Devin Booker and Bradley Beal have lauded Dunn for quickly adapting to the NBA’s demands. “He’s going to guard the best opposing player, probably 10 out of 10 times,” Beal mentioned in training sessions, highlighting Dunn’s defensive prowess. Additionally, Booker noted, “I usually look at form and mechanics, and everything looks there,” referring to Dunn’s shooting technique.

Despite these developments, the Suns are aware that translating preseason success into the regular season will be the real test of Dunn’s abilities. Yet, their investment appears to be bearing fruit, as Dunn exhibits an improved shot and effective defensive tactics, reminiscent of established defensive stars in the league.
