FC Porto Prepares for Taça de Portugal Clash Against Sintrense

The FC Porto first-team squad resumed training on Thursday at the PortoGaia Training and Sports Center in Olival. The team is preparing for their upcoming match against Sintrense, scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 20, at 5:00 PM at Estádio José Gomes in Amadora. This fixture is part of the 3rd round of the Taça de Portugal competition.

During the training session, Porto played a practice match against Arouca, where they emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. The match saw contributions from various players, including Claudio Ramos, Francisco Moura, Zé Pedro, Otavio, Zaidu, Varela, André Franco, Fábio Vieira, Pepê, João Mário, Danny Namaso, Martim Fernandes, Nehuen Pérez, Tiago Djaló, Wendell, Nico González, Iván Jaime, Galeno, Gonçalo Borges, Domingos Andrade, and Fran Navarro. Fran Navarro and Martim Fernandes were the goal scorers for Porto.

Several key players were absent from the training session as they are currently on international duty. Diogo Costa is with Portugal, Vasco Sousa and Rodrigo Mora are playing for Portugal U21, Samu has joined Spain U21, Marko Grujić is representing Serbia, Eustáquio is with Canada, and Deniz Gül is playing for Sweden U21.

In the club’s injury report, Iván Marcano continues to train under conditioned circumstances, while Zaidu’s training remains integrated but also conditioned. The team is scheduled for another training session on Friday at 10:00 AM at Olival.
