Raiders Select Offensive Tackle Charles Grant in 2025 NFL Draft

Las Vegas, NV – With the 99th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Las Vegas Raiders have selected Charles Grant, an offensive tackle from William & Mary. Grant, a towering prospect at 6-foot-5 and 311 pounds, started 41 games during his college career and received two-time FCS All-American honors.
During his time at William & Mary, Grant showcased his skills as he allowed only one sack in the 2024 season and two sacks in his last three years. His performance contributed to the Tribe ranking fourth nationally in rushing yards per game, averaging 232.8 yards.
Despite not attending the Senior Bowl, Grant was invited to participate and was regarded as one of the top FCS prospects. Pro Football Focus rated him with an impressive 91.2 offensive grade, which was the second highest among all tackles nationally, across both FBS and FCS.
Raiders General Manager John Spytek has emphasized enhancing the team’s offensive line during this draft. Grant is expected to compete for depth positions and may eventually vie for a starting role alongside fellow third-round pick Caleb Rogers from Texas Tech.
NFL Network analyst Lance Zierlein praised Grant’s potential, noting he can improve his bulk and pad level to meet professional standards. “He played with both urgency and positioning in William & Mary’s zone-heavy approach,” Zierlein said. “If he cleans up his hand usage, he could develop into a solid pro.”
With this selection, the Raiders continue to bolster their offensive line depth, aiming for a stronger performance in the upcoming season. As the draft unfolds, the team still has six picks remaining.
