Rams' Kyren Williams Suffers Hand Injury In Wild Card Game

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams was forced to leave the Wild Card game against the Detroit Lions due to a hand injury. The incident occurred in the third quarter when Williams took a hard hit on a red zone run that resulted in a one-yard loss. He immediately headed to the medical tent for evaluation.

At this time, the exact nature and severity of Williams’ hand injury remain undisclosed. However, he is currently being checked out in the medical tent. In his absence, Ronnie Rivers stepped in to replace him. The Lions were leading the game when the injury occurred.

Williams’ status was quickly updated by the Los Angeles Rams, designating him as “questionable to return” after being taken to the locker room for further examination. In the meantime, Rivers caught a 3-yard screen pass in the red zone to make up for Williams’ absence.

The Rams had multiple players leave the game due to injuries, including quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Puka Nacua. However, neither player missed any snaps, and they were able to continue playing.
