Puka Nacua Foot Injury Nfl

LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua suffered a foot injury during the second quarter of a game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 12. The injury occurred while attempting to catch a pass in the end zone. He was listed as questionable to return, according to updates from the Rams on their X account.

Nacua, 24, who entered Week 6 leading the NFL in receptions and receiving yards, was injured after a pass intended for him was broken up by Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey. Following the play, Nacua appeared to be in pain and was helped off the field by staff.

Prior to his injury, Nacua recorded two catches for 28 yards. He was taken into the locker room for further evaluation as the Rams continued to face the Ravens on the road.

Selected 177th overall in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Nacua has exceeded expectations in his young career, breaking several rookie records, including 1,486 receiving yards in his first season. He was named a Second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowler.

This season, Nacua has continued to perform well, with 79 receptions for 990 yards and three touchdowns, despite dealing with injuries in the past.

Rams running back Blake Corum also suffered an ankle injury in the game and was listed as questionable to return.
