Rams Secure 26th Pick in 2025 NFL Draft, Eye Top Talent

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The Los Angeles Rams will hold the 26th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, set to take place April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This marks the fourth time in franchise history the Rams have held the 26th pick, with the most recent instance in 1989 when they selected Miami (Fla.) running back Cleveland Gary.
Gary, who had a standout rookie season with 163 rushing yards and one touchdown, followed up with an impressive 808 yards and a league-leading 14 rushing touchdowns in 1990. The Rams are now poised to add another key player to their roster as they aim to build on recent successes.
The 2025 NFL Draft order, finalized for the first 28 picks, places the Rams in the latter half of the first round. Teams like the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns hold the top two selections, while playoff contenders such as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will pick later in the round.
Among the top prospects is Ohio State edge defender JT Tuimoloau, a 6-foot-5, 269-pound athlete known for his versatility and power. Tuimoloau, 21, has demonstrated strong run defense and pass-rushing abilities, though scouts note his lack of elite explosiveness could limit his ceiling in the NFL.
“Tuimoloau is a high-floor prospect whose ability to rush with power and set a strong edge against the run will be enough to get him on the field early and often,” said draft analyst Luke Easterling. “His upside will depend on his ability to develop a wider range of pass-rushing moves.”
The Rams, who have consistently prioritized building through the draft, will look to capitalize on their 26th pick to address key needs and bolster their roster for the 2025 season.
