Isaac Teslaa Andrew Armstrong Nfl Draft

GREEN BAY, Wis. — As the 2025 NFL Draft unfolds, Arkansas wide receivers Isaac TeSlaa and Andrew Armstrong find themselves in a unique position. Both players, previously hidden gems, are garnering attention from teams—the LA Rams among them—as they look to make their marks on the professional stage.

The three-day draft event, kicking off on Thursday, marks a significant juncture for the pair who both started their collegiate careers in Division II before stepping up their games in the SEC. Despite Arkansas not having a name called on the first night, they boast legitimate talent with potential for day-two selections, particularly in defensive end Landon Jackson.

Isaac TeSlaa, hailing from Hillsdale College, showcased impressive stats during his college years, with 68 receptions for 1,325 yards and 13 touchdowns in his final season before transferring to Arkansas. At Arkansas, he caught 62 passes for 896 yards and five touchdowns over the past two seasons. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 214 pounds, TeSlaa recorded a 4.43-second 40-yard dash time at the NFL Combine, drawing comparisons to successful receivers like Cooper Kupp.

“I don’t think a lot of teams were expecting me to run that fast,” TeSlaa remarked after his Combine performance. His consistent hands and versatility on special teams, where he recorded 188 snaps at Arkansas, enhance his value to prospective teams.

Meanwhile, Andrew Armstrong is another player who has caught scouts’ eyes. After transferring from a DII program, Armstrong became Arkansas’s top target in 2023, leading the team with 56 receptions for 764 yards and five touchdowns. He capped off his college career with a remarkable season, recording 78 catches for 1,140 yards—making him one of the top performers in Arkansas history.

Armstrong, 24, brings a physical presence at 6-foot-4 and 202 pounds, with a 4.51-second 40-yard dash that doesn’t quite jump off the page but still offers value to teams needing size and reliability at wide receiver.

“I just see so much of my game in [Davante Adams],” Armstrong said during an interview discussing his playing style. “He knows how to get open. He just gets open. He’s a quarterback-friendly wide receiver, and that’s the type of receiver I feel like I am.”

As attention centers around both players, their futures in the NFL remain uncertain. The Rams have expressed interest in both prospects, adding an intriguing layer to their potential selections as the draft continues through the weekend. With standout performances leading to significant interest from multiple NFL teams, TeSlaa and Armstrong hope to secure their places on professional rosters.
