Rashid Khan, the renowned Afghan cricketer playing for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024, has recently showcased a unique and spectacular shot that has caught the attention of fans worldwide.

Through a video shared on his Instagram account, Rashid presented a new version of his signature ‘snake shot’ that left viewers in awe.

In the video, Rashid can be seen practicing the shot with finesse, setting up with a peculiar stance and later sidestepping almost three stumps to stand offside.

As the bowler aims for the straight stumps, Rashid remarkably executes the snake shot, hitting the ball in an unconventional yet impressive manner.

The video has garnered reactions from various cricket personalities such as Ireland‘s Joshua Little and Australian pacer Spencer Johnson, among others.

Rashid’s on-field performance in IPL 2024, however, has not been as impactful as expected so far.

In the nine matches he has played for Gujarat, Rashid has managed to secure only 8 wickets with an average of 31.63 and an economy rate of 7.44.
