Lamar Jackson Ravens Vs Steelers 2025 Nfl Playoffs

The Baltimore Ravens secured a decisive 34-17 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2025 NFL Wild Card Round on Saturday night at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens, led by quarterback Lamar Jackson, extended their winning streak to five games, while the Steelers ended their season with a fifth consecutive loss.

Jackson delivered a stellar performance, completing 15 of 23 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. He also added 62 rushing yards, showcasing his dual-threat capabilities. Running back Derrick Henry was equally dominant, rushing for 162 yards and a touchdown, further solidifying the Ravens’ offensive prowess.

The Steelers struggled to contain Baltimore’s offense, despite a strong defensive effort from linebacker T.J. Watt, who recorded 11.5 sacks this season. Pittsburgh’s offense, led by quarterback Kenny Pickett, failed to gain momentum, with running back Najee Harris limited to 63 rushing yards and receiver George Pickens held to 50 receiving yards.

The Ravens’ defense was instrumental in the win, holding the Steelers to just 17 points. Baltimore’s secondary, anchored by All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton, intercepted Pickett twice, stifling Pittsburgh’s passing game. The Ravens’ defensive line also pressured Pickett throughout the night, recording four sacks.

With the victory, the Ravens advance to the Divisional Round, where they will face the winner of the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins matchup. The Steelers, meanwhile, head into the offseason with questions surrounding their roster and coaching staff.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh praised his team’s resilience. ‘We knew this was going to be a tough game, but our guys stepped up and executed when it mattered most,’ Harbaugh said. ‘Lamar and Derrick were phenomenal, and our defense played lights out.’

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin acknowledged the challenges his team faced. ‘We didn’t play our best football tonight, and that’s on me,’ Tomlin said. ‘We’ll regroup and come back stronger next season.’

The Ravens’ victory marks their third playoff win in the past five seasons, further cementing their status as one of the AFC‘s elite teams. Pittsburgh, on the other hand, will look to rebuild after a disappointing end to their season.
