Ben Cleveland Nfl Player Divorce Dui

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Ravens lineman Ben Cleveland has filed for divorce from his wife, Kaitlyn Cleveland, just weeks after his arrest for allegedly driving under the influence. The 26-year-old submitted divorce papers in Baldwin County, Georgia, on February 28, citing adultery as the reason for the split.

The filing indicates that the couple’s official separation date was December 29, 2024. Cleveland, who joined the Ravens in 2021 after playing college football at the University of Georgia, proposed to Kaitlyn in Las Vegas in February 2020. They tied the knot in July 2022.

His divorce filing follows closely on the heels of his DUI arrest on February 12 in Milledgeville, Georgia. Authorities reportedly stopped Cleveland after noticing his vehicle swerving between lanes. According to an arrest report obtained by the NFL, he registered a blood alcohol content of .178, which is more than twice the legal limit. He was subsequently charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane before being released on bond.

This incident appears to have contributed to a shift in Kaitlyn’s social media presence. The last time the couple was seen together online was December 26, just three days before their formal separation date. Since that time, Kaitlyn has shared several solo travel experiences, including a recent trip to the Virgin Islands and a celebration at Mardi Gras in Mobile, Alabama.

On February 7, she posted vacation photos with the caption, “A one-way flight has never sounded better,” suggesting she may be embracing a new phase in her life.

Cleveland’s divorce filing also notes their marriage date was July 21, 2022, but does not mention his recent legal troubles. He remains a key player for the Ravens, having been drafted in the third round and expected to enter free agency when the new league year begins later this month.

Attempts to reach Ben’s attorney for comment have so far been unsuccessful.
