Ravens Sign Noteboom, Expand Offensive Line Depth

Baltimore, MD — The Baltimore Ravens have boosted their offensive line by signing former offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom, the team announced on Saturday. This move comes as teams throughout the NFL are actively engaging in free agency following the start of the new league year on March 12.
Noteboom is expected to serve as a swing tackle and will primarily back up Ronnie Stanley and Roger Rosengarten. He may also compete for the left guard position that became available when Patrick Mekari left the team. Noteboom brings experience to the Ravens, yet has faced challenges in his career with health and performance, only participating in 24 games and making 18 starts since signing with the NFL in 2022.
“We believe Joseph can thrive in our system and add valuable depth to our roster,” said Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta. “His versatility will be an asset as we move forward this season.”
This signing highlights the Ravens’ ongoing commitment to strengthening their offensive line, especially as they prepare for the upcoming NFL season. With free agency in full swing, the team aims to build a competitive roster by securing experienced players.
The Ravens are not alone in their pursuit of good talent during this year’s free agency. Many teams have already made significant moves to enhance their lineups.
“We’re looking to create a stable and formidable offensive front,” DeCosta added. The Ravens will continue to evaluate their options as they prepare for the draft and the tail end of free agency.
