MIAMI, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Rays travel to Miami this weekend for a three-game series against the Marlins. The team will start Taj Bradley on the mound for the first game.

Bradley enters the matchup with a 3-2 record and a 4.40 earned run average this season. He has shown flashes of brilliance, but has also faced struggles. In his last three starts, he allowed only two earned runs each game, contributing to wins against the New York Yankees on May 4 and the Milwaukee Brewers last Saturday.

The Rays have been particularly strong in away games, boasting a 9-2 record in their last 11 contests on the road. They have also dominated the Marlins in recent encounters, winning six consecutive series and improving to 25-4 in their last 29 meetings. This remarkable .857 winning percentage against Miami is the best among all major league teams over the past six years, given a minimum of 15 games played.

Adding to the team’s momentum, outfielder Josh Lowe returns to the lineup after a strong performance Thursday, where he recorded three hits. He is batting second and playing in right field for Friday’s game. Additionally, Yandy Diaz is back after missing the previous series due to passport issues; he will bat leadoff.

The starting lineups for both teams are set: Yandy Diaz (DH), Josh Lowe (RF), Brandon Lowe (2B), Junior Caminero (3B), Jonathan Aranda (1B), Kameron Misner (CF), Jose Caballero (SS), Ben Rortvert (C), and Chandler Simpson (LF) for the Rays. The Marlins will counter with Xavier Edwards (SS), Jesus Sanchez (RF), Agustin Ramirez (C), Connor Norby (DH), Kyle Stowers (LF), Eric Wagaman (1B), Ronny Simon (2B), Graham Pauley (3B), and Derek Hill (CF).
