Razorbacks Boosted by Aduo Thiero’s Return for Sweet 16

Fayetteville, Arkansas – The Arkansas Razorbacks have received a significant boost ahead of their Sweet 16 matchup against Texas Tech, with head coach John Calipari announcing that forward Aduo Thiero will be available to play. This marks the first time since January 18 that the team will have a fully healthy roster.
Calipari made the announcement during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, emphasizing the importance of Thiero’s presence on the court. “We need his toughness and athleticism,” Calipari stated. “The most he’ll play, 12 minutes. Maybe 15. Maybe. I doubt (it), but you’ve got to prepare now because we’re a different team.”
Thiero’s return comes as a relief to Razorbacks fans and the coaching staff alike, as the team aims to continue its momentum after winning a couple of games in the NCAA Tournament. His performance in practice has been limited due to a knee injury he sustained late in February during a game against Missouri, where he had to battle through pain while helping secure a 92-85 victory. Initially, after the injury, it was believed that he would be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
The Razorbacks’ earlier victories in the tournament have reinvigorated their hopes, and now with Thiero’s return, they look to increase their chances of advancing further in the competition. Coach Calipari hinted at Thiero’s potential return in previous statements, and his eventual comeback is expected to make a considerable difference to the team.
As the Razorbacks prepare for the upcoming match, the excitement is palpable among fans and players alike. Thiero’s ability to contribute, even for a limited number of minutes, could shift the tides in what promises to be a competitive clash against Texas Tech.
