RCB vs GG WPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore Outplay Gujarat Giants with Convincing Win in WPL Match

On Tuesday, at the hallowed M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women’s team faced off against the Gujarat Giants (GG) in a thrilling match of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024.

Captained by the talented Smriti Mandhana, RCB won the toss and elected to bowl first, setting the stage for an action-packed match.

Batting first, Gujarat Giants put up a total of 107 runs on the board in their 20 overs, losing seven wickets in the process.

In response, RCB’s Smriti Mandhana led from the front with a brilliant innings, scoring the most runs for her team with a quickfire 43 off 27 deliveries.

With contributions from Sophie Devine, Sabbhineni Meghana, and Ellyse Perry, RCB comfortably chased down the target, reaching 110 with the loss of only 2 wickets in 12.3 overs.
