Real Madrid Eyes Tottenham’s Archie Gray in €50m Transfer Move
MADRID, Spain – Real Madrid is reportedly preparing a €50 million (£42 million) bid for Tottenham Hotspur‘s 18-year-old midfielder Archie Gray, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes. The European champions are keen to secure the young talent, who has impressed with his mature performances despite Tottenham’s underwhelming season.
Gray, a product of Tottenham’s youth academy, has emerged as one of England’s most promising prospects. His vision, distribution skills, and composure on the ball have drawn attention from top clubs across Europe. Real Madrid, known for investing in young talent, sees Gray as a potential cornerstone for their future midfield.
“Gray’s ability to control the midfield at such a young age is exceptional,” said a source close to the negotiations. “Real Madrid believes he has the potential to become a world-class player.”
Meanwhile, Barcelona is reportedly exploring a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford. The Catalan club’s sporting director, Deco, has reportedly contacted Rashford’s representatives, though wage demands could complicate any deal.
