Real Madrid Women Team Eibar Match April 2025

Madrid, Spain — Real Madrid will face Eibar on April 12, 2025, at 18:30 (DAZN and Ellas Vamos) in a pivotal Liga F match. The team aims to win all remaining games while hoping FC Barcelona stumbles in their quest for the title.

Currently, Real Madrid is enjoying a remarkable streak, having secured 25 points out of the last 27 available. Notably, they triumphed over Barcelona in a recent ‘Clásico’ match played in Montjuïc, positioning themselves as the strongest team in the league’s second half. They also remain undefeated in away matches this season, achieving a flawless 12 wins in 12 outings.

In their last game before the international break, they defeated Real Sociedad 3-0, with goals from Hayley Weir, Emma Møller, and Athenea. However, coach Alberto Toril will be without Sandie Toletti and other injured players, including Melanie Leupolz, Rocío Gálvez, and Tere Abelleira. This situation leaves Real Madrid with only two first-team midfielders, Angeldahl and Weir, available for selection. Three academy players, Irune Dorado, Elsa Santos, and Silvia Cristóbal, have been called up to fill the gap.

“We are very pleased with the team’s evolution. We are fighting closely with the leaders in Liga F and will strive until the end. Iperura is a great stadium with excellent pitch conditions, setting the stage for a good match,” said Toril during an interview on the club’s official television.

Alba Redondo, a key player who has found the back of the net over fifteen times in her debut season with Madrid, also spoke to the media. “This break was an opportunity for physical and mental recuperation. We were eager for the league to resume for this final sprint. Our character is to fight until the end. Nothing is impossible, and we focus on ourselves,” Redondo articulated.

Eibar, meanwhile, enters this match in impressive form, winning their last four games against Deportivo, Levante Badalona, Real Betis, and Levante, ensuring their safety in the top tier and closing in on fifth place, now just three points away. However, Eibar’s home performance has been less stellar, with only one win in their last ten home matches.

The previous encounter between these teams was less favorable for Madrid, suffering a 0-1 defeat, marking the first victory for Eibar against Real Madrid. Historically, Madrid has maintained an unblemished record in Ipurúa, winning all three of their away games in the Basque Country.
