Redcliffe Dolphins Secure Convincing Win With Hamiso Tabuai Fidow Hat Trick

The Redcliffe Dolphins dominated the field in a spectacular showdown against the Dragons at Kayo Stadium on Sunday night, with a notable performance from cult hero Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow leading the team to a 38-0 victory. Coming off a tough loss in Round 1, the Dolphins exhibited a remarkable 63-point turnaround to secure their first win of the 2024 season.

The game ignited in the sixth minute when Jack Bostock made a sensational play, defusing a bomb on the Dolphins’ 10-metre line and racing 20 meters before linking up with Tabuai-Fidow for a stellar try. Jamayne Isaako’s conversion put the Dolphins ahead 6-0 early on.

Shortly after, Kodi Nikorima executed a precise kick across to the right wing, where Isaako soared high to secure his 25th try in 25 games for the NRL‘s newest club. The Dolphins’ swift scoring further solidified their dominance on the field.

In the 15th minute, Dragons captain Ben Hunt displayed his skills with a remarkable 40-20 kick, offering his team a promising opportunity to score. However, the Dragons’ attack lacked cohesion, and a crucial error by Francis Molo allowed the Dolphins to thwart the opponent’s advances and maintain their stronghold on the game.
